1. Why does InputKing not work on my computer?
The following are common causes:
(1) The OS that you use is currently not supported by InputKing
Currently InputKing supports Windows, Linux and UNIX, but does not support Mac OS yet.
(2) The browser that you use is currently not supported by InputKing
Currently InputKing supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla and Netscape, but does not support Opera.
(3) The version of the browser that you use is old
Current version of InputKing requires that the browser must be Internet Explorer 5, Firefox 0.6.1, Netscape 7.1, Mozilla 1.3 or above. If the version of your browser is older, you can only use previous version of InputKing. Further, you may only be able to input Chinese under "Append Mode".
(4) Your browser blocked InputKing's edit window
If there is no new window open after you click the "Start" button on homepage, you should check the setting of your browser to make sure it does not block InputKing window.
(5) The cursor is not in the edit area
Usually, the cursor is automatically put in the edit area after you start the system. However, some browsers cannot do so. In this case, you must click the edit area to move the cursor into the edit area before you can start to input.
Please note that if an email edited using InputKing cannot be displayed properly (displayed as odd characters), it is not a problem of InputKing, it is due to the flaw of email software or improper use of email program. (Hotmail users should use Chinese interface to send Chinese email.)

2. What cases is InputKing suitable for?
InputKing is suitable for the following cases:
(1) When the computer has no Chinese input software and you do not have the right to install
Such as the computers in schools, libraries, Internet cafes, hotels, community centers, airports. There are also such computers in some companies.
(2) When the computer does not have the Chinese input software that you are familiar with
For example, you are using another person's computer
(3) When the Chinese input software on your computer has a problem
(4) When you read a Chinese article
If your Chinese is not so good, you can use InputKing's online Chinese-English dictionary function to speed up your reading. (Copy the article you want to read into the InputKing edit area first, then use "Highlight & Lookup" function.)
